BBRT Research
Members' needs drive the research, focused on issues relating to the evaluation and implementation of Beyond Budgeting (e.g. the use of systems and tools, implementation process and devolution). It uses case study research as much as possible with up to four new cases released per year. The BBRT In Brazil will give its members the opportunity to participate in at least 2 case study visits per year. Researchers work with experts in specialized fields (e.g. CRM, VBM, ABM, Balanced Scorecard) and determine how such tools should be used to support the Beyond Budgeting. Surveys, white papers and private forum access are tools driving research.
A Leaders' Group enables individuals with advanced understanding and leadership roles to facilitate sharing experiences through mutual contribution. Other special interest groups may be established for specific industries, such as 'not-for-profit' or public sector.
BBRT Strategic Support
BBRT membership provides exclusive access to the BBRT leaders (as facilitators) to run in-house workshops and provide strategic support for evaluators and implementers. The workshops and other strategic support activities are tailored to address the particular needs of each member company. Strategic support services are subject to additional fees.
Discounted Attendance at Public Workshops & Seminars
BBRT members receive substantial discounts on attendance fees at BBRT's public workshops and seminars.
Forthcoming BBRT Events in Brazil
The inaugural meeting of the BBRT for Brazil was held in November 2004, in São Paulo.
We are currently in the process of assembling an initial member group of 5-10 organizations, which will form the initial member base in Brazil.
If you are interested in becoming part of this movement, please get in touch with Niels Pflaeging from the BBRT.
General Membership Meetings for Brazil will be held every 3 to 6 months, once the initial core member group is established.
The 2nd annual congress on Beyond Budgeting for the region is planned for the first semester 2006.
Get in touch for further details, and if you want to know more about membership and the BBRT!

The BBRT can help companies to understand, evaluate, implement and benefit from the Beyond Budgeting model.
| 1. |
Gain Awareness - Public
Information. This step aims to raise the awareness in beyond budgeting
through the publication of articles, books, web site (www.bbrt.org)
and open half-day introductory seminars. |
| 2. |
Build a Case for Change - Diagnostics
& Workshops. The next step is to help people relate the concepts
to their own organization. The BBRT runs open 1- and 2-day workshops
to help people develop their own case for change and also an on-line
diagnostic at www.beyondbudgeting.org
to help them develop new vision. |
| 3. |
Share & Learn Hands-on - BBRT Membership.
BBRT membership provides a support forum for people who are evaluating
or implementing Beyond Budgeting. They will learn from others who are
themselves implementing and share their experiences. For full benefits
of BBRT membership, please refer to the Membership Benefits section.
|
| 4. |
Provide In-House Support - BBRT Strategic
Services. The BBRT leaders can provide support exclusively to members
to help them develop their own vision and implementation roadmaps, through
specially tailored in-house workshops at discounted fees. |
